The City of Cape Town’s Urban Mobility team successfully hosted another Transport Month community roadshow event at the Dulcie September Civic Centre in Athlone

The City of Cape Town’s Urban Mobility team successfully hosted another Transport Month community roadshow event at the Dulcie September Civic Centre in Athlone yesterday, 24 October 2024.

‘I am happy that there was such a good turnout in Athlone yesterday where many residents from the Southern Suburbs came out to meet the Urban Mobility Directorate teams. They had an opportunity to engage directly with the experts on any transport related queries and importantly the exciting roll out of the MyCiTi phase 2A in the metro south-east region. The team also shared information about the various careers that exist within the Urban Mobility sector and the various projects that are currently under way and planned for the southern district. Having staff from our customer relations team there was also beneficial as they were available to assist residents with general service requests,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Rob Quintas.
